A. Information You Provide

This is data you actively give us when you create an account or contact us.

  • Account Information: Your name and email address when you register.
  • Communications: Any information you provide when you contact us for support, including messages and attachments.

B. Information From Google

With your permission via Google OAuth, we access data to make our tools work. Each scope below is requested only when the corresponding feature is in use, and you can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

  • Google Profile: Your name, email, and profile picture to create and manage your SearchAi account. Scopes: openid, userinfo.email, userinfo.profile.
  • Google Ads Data (read & manage): Permission to view your Google Ads accounts and apply optimizations you have approved. Used to compute audit findings (wasted spend, conversion gaps, ad-asset health) and to apply opt-in changes such as adding negative keywords or pausing campaigns. Scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords.
  • Google Analytics 4 Data (read): Permission to read your GA4 property data on your behalf so we can compute cross-channel reality-check comparisons (Google Ads spend vs. GA4 sessions and conversions), build behavioral audience cohorts (high-intent researchers, phone-click intenders, form-starters who bounced), surface conversion-event coverage gaps, capture site-search intent signals, and — for automotive customers — compare local in-market search demand against your spend allocation by vehicle make and model. We never use this data for advertising targeting outside your own account. Scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly.
  • Google Analytics 4 Configuration (edit): Permission to create and modify configuration entities in your GA4 property on your behalf — specifically: syncing the behavioral audience cohorts we identify (e.g., high-intent researchers, phone-click intenders) back into your property as ready-to-use GA4 Audiences for activation in Google Ads; creating custom dimensions and metrics that our reports rely on; and, with your explicit confirmation, marking high-value events as conversions. We never modify property settings, retention policies, data streams, or user permissions. Every configuration change is initiated by an action you take inside our app, never silently. Scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.edit.
  • Storage & isolation: Data fetched via these scopes is stored exclusively in a per-customer cloud dataset isolated from every other customer. It is never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used to train models that benefit other customers.
  • Retention: We retain Google-sourced data for the duration of your active subscription plus 90 days for audit-history and dispute-resolution purposes, after which it is deleted on a rolling basis. You may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting [email protected].

Limited Use of Google User Data. SearchAi's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we affirm that:

  • No advertising use. We do not use Google user data, in whole or in part, to serve advertisements, including but not limited to retargeted, personalized, or interest-based advertising. The only campaign actions we take inside your own Google Ads account are the optimizations you explicitly approve within the Service.
  • No transfer or sale to third parties. We do not transfer or sell Google user data to third parties such as advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. Transfers are limited to (a) providing or improving user-facing features of the Service with your consent, (b) security purposes such as investigating abuse, (c) compliance with applicable law, or (d) as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets where we obtain your explicit prior consent.
  • No credit, lending, or eligibility determinations. We do not use Google user data to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.
  • No AI/ML training across customers. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models, including any models that would benefit other customers or third parties. Internal models that operate exclusively on a single customer's own data to power that customer's own audit findings and recommendations are permitted as part of providing the user-facing features of the Service.
  • No human reading of your data. SearchAi personnel do not read Google user data, except (a) with your affirmative agreement for specific data, (b) where strictly necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, (c) to comply with applicable law, or (d) for internal operations performed only on data that has been aggregated and anonymized.

C. Information We Collect Automatically

This technical data is collected as you use our Site and Services.

  • Log & Usage Data: Your IP address, browser type, OS, and pages viewed.
  • Cookies & Similar Technologies: Used to track activity and help our service function.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, all aimed at providing and improving our service to you.

  • To Provide and Maintain Our Services: To create and manage your account, authenticate you, and provide the core functionality of our AI-powered tools for Google Ads.
  • To Generate Insights and Recommendations: To analyze your advertising data to provide you with automated reports, performance insights, and AI-driven optimization suggestions.
  • To Improve and Personalize Our Services: To understand how users interact with our Services so we can enhance the user experience, develop new features, and improve functionality.
  • To Communicate With You: To send you service-related announcements, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
  • For Security and Fraud Prevention: To monitor and protect the security of our Services, detect and prevent fraudulent activity, and enforce our terms and policies.
  • For Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal processes, such as responding to subpoenas or requests from government authorities.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share your information with vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting (e.g., Google Cloud Platform), analytics, and customer support. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
  • Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of our business.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if we believe it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or prevent wrongdoing.
  • With Your Consent: We may share your information with your consent or at your direction.

SMS/Text Message Communications

When you provide your mobile phone number during account registration or in your account settings, you expressly consent to receive automated transactional text messages from SearchAi regarding your account. These communications include but are not limited to: security alerts, login notifications, password change confirmations, billing updates, and important service-related announcements.

We do not use your phone number for marketing or promotional purposes without your additional explicit consent. Message frequency varies based on your account activity but is typically limited to important account events.

Standard message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. You can opt-out of receiving text messages at any time by updating your communication preferences in your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Please note that opting out of transactional messages may impact your account security and functionality.

We use third-party service providers, including Twilio, to facilitate these text message communications. Your phone number is stored securely and is only shared with these providers to deliver the services you've requested.

Data Security & Retention

We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

Protection of Google user data. Data obtained via Google APIs is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher and encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption. OAuth refresh and access tokens are stored encrypted, are scoped to the individual customer account, and are accessible only to the application processes that need them to deliver the features you have authorized. Access by personnel is logged and restricted to the narrow circumstances described in the Limited Use section above.

We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to provide you with our Services, for our legitimate business purposes, and as required by law.

Data Deletion

You may request the deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

Revoke Access

You can revoke our access to your Google data at any time by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions and removing SearchAi from the list of third-party apps with access to your Google Account. Revoking access immediately ends our ability to fetch new data via the affected scopes; previously fetched data is deleted in accordance with the retention terms above, or sooner upon written request to [email protected].

Marketing Opt-Out

Unsubscribe from promotional emails by following the instructions in the email.

U.S. State-Specific Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states, such as California, Colorado, and Virginia, may have additional rights regarding their personal information. These rights may include:
